ERR confusion

Confusion surrounds ERR compensation payments made this month in London Operations.

Details of payments as proposed, which are designed to compensate for the withdrawal of short terms acting payments (ERR), are given below.

The proposals were made in July, with Technical Services figures amended this month.

However some of the numbers detailed have been questioned by your representatives. The impact of recent promotion Boards in some areas has also been raised.

A response from management is awaited in order to update the figures below.

To add confusion management have written to some staff stating they would be receiving payments that do not seem to relate to the proposed figures. Subsequently some of the payments that actually took place in the December payroll are not even in line with these figures!

This confused situation is not acceptable, and brings into question the terms of the settlement that resolved the industrial action in August of this year.
