Studios holiday ballot

ESPG members in Studios are being balloted for industrial action on Public Holiday scheduling.

This follows discussions with local management, originating in 2002, that eventually resulted in Branch representatives putting forward three proposals to resolve the disputed scheduling of UPA2 staff.

Management have said they need time to study the proposals - however the delay to any further meeting on the subject is not acceptable to the Branch.

The Branch is therefore carrying out a ballot with the union recommending that members vote for industrial action.

Ballot papers have been sent to the home addresses of members in Studios, and the ballot closes 1200 on 19 August 2004.
